Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic opened it’s doors in 2010, and has been under new ownership of Dr. Barbara Ramos-Rivera since November 2015. Dr. Ramos-Rivera has been practicing for 22 years in the Central Pennsylvania Region. Since Dr. Ramos-Rivera has become the new owner, Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic has been able to expand its list of veterinary services to acupuncture, laser therapy and VSMT. It is our goal to continue to grow in both our knowledge and alternative services of veterinary practices through the upcoming years.

Meet Our Team
Dr. Barbara Ramos-Rivera
Dr Barbara Ramos-Rivera was born in San Juan, Puerto rico. She received her BS in Microbiology from the University of Idaho in 1994 and her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2001. She has been practicing Veterinary medicine in the Central Pennsylvania area for 15 years. Over the years, Dr Ramos-Rivera has developed an interest in alternative medicine modalities. Dr Ramos-Rivera received her certification in Small Animal Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in Florida in 2006. She completed her post-doctorate studies in VSMT from the Healing Oasis in Wisconsin in 2013. In November of 2015, Dr Ramos-Rivera became the new owner of the Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic. She lives in Palmyra with her husband, Laszlo, her two beautiful children, Xander and Xerena, and their cats, Simi the Himalayan, Gato Rouge the Ragdoll, and Mr. Wrinkles and Cicu the Sphynxes.
Tiffany Myers
Tiffany is the Office Manager and a veterinary technician here at Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic. She has been a veterinary technician since 2005, and joined the Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic team in December of 2015. She enjoys all aspects of the veterinary field especially surgery and dental cleaning. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping and spending time with her husband Cody. She resides in New Oxford with her dog, Buddy, 6 cats, Carl, Scribbles, Trouble, Little Pete, Oliver, and Minion
Cassandra Gainey
Cassandra is a Veterinary Assistant, she joined our team in November 2017 after moving here from Flagstaff, Arizona. She lives in Mechanicsburg with her boyfriend, 1 rescue dog named Maggie May, and a tabby cat named Blue. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and traveling.
